How difficult does the MCAT test?

Many students overlook the difficulty of the MCAT when they’ve been performing very well on their university or college tests; they assume that naturally, they’ll be able to perform excellently in the MCAT. However, the MCAT isn’t a test that can be rushed and requires a lot of study and practice to be successful. 

As per the AAMC, over the last 3 to 5 years, over 90% of those taking the MCAT took courses in biochemistry, biology, general organic chemistry, chemistry, and Physics before taking the exam. More than half of test-takers took an educational, academic, or medical College preparation class. That said, out of the roughly 185,000 test takers who took the MCAT in this time frame, about one quarter chose that they would take it again to improve their scores this time. So, how difficult is the MCAT?
