The Universal Postal Union recently ranked the post services of 170 countries based on reliability, reach, relevance and resilience. Switzerland topped the list, while Japan, the UK and the United States rounded out the top ten. In the ranking, Switzerland’s postal service took the top spot. Read on to find out who else made the list. This article will explain how to find out which post services rank high in your country!

USPS

The United States Postal Service continues to be ranked as one of the world’s best postal services. A new report from the Universal Postal Union ranks postal services around the world based on their reliability, reach, relevance and resilience. Switzerland topped the list this year and Singapore improved their score by 13.3 points. The USPS was ranked seventh overall, but this was largely due to a coronavirus pandemic that affected postal operations worldwide.

Another study by Oxford Strategic Consulting ranks the U.S. postal service as the best in the world. The study compared the performance of the postal services in G-20 countries. The USPS scored highly in each category, and it was the only one to deliver more letters per employee than any other post service in the G20. Other countries that rank high include Australia Post and Japan Post. The UK’s postal service also has the best postal service in the world.

USPS contains 31,247 retail offices at different locations. Finds Post office locations in USA by pinging PostOfficeNearMe.xyz.

Royal Mail

In recent years, Royal Mail has made great strides in customer service and increased its range of services. Customers are able to choose from a variety of services, such as 2nd Class post, which takes two to three business days to deliver their packages. They can also opt for Royal Mail Signed For(tm), which guarantees that the package will be delivered to its destination on the date you specified. Royal Mail also offers nine-am next-day delivery.

For international postage, the Royal Mail has two services: International Economy and International Standard. International Economy is designed for those who aren’t looking for the most expensive service or those without a PS50. The International Economy service can take anywhere from five to 15 days to Western Europe, while International Standard can take anywhere from three to five days. If you’re a small business, you’ll probably want to opt for the latter.

Swiss Post

The Swiss Post was founded in 1849 and is one of the largest employers in Switzerland. It has a vast network of operations and is very popular among the Swiss citizens. The company is also renowned for its efficiency – most packages are delivered within one to three working days and come from more than 3600 delivery points in Switzerland. It is the second-largest employer in Switzerland, behind the Swiss railways.

In the past five years, the Swiss postal system has been crowned the best in the world by the Universal Postal Union. The organization measures reliability and international networkedness of postal services. It also considers the relevance of products and services to the population and innovative sustainability. The Swiss Post executive management is well aware of the complexity of internal processes, which is the key to Swiss Post’s success.

France’s La Poste

The French postal service, La Poste, is a national pride and has a long history. Its delivery service, which covers most of France’s mainland, has been a pillar of French culture for centuries. The famous yellow boxes decorated with curly bugles have appeared on hundreds of postcards and in films. Besides the colorful post boxes, La Poste employees are also blessed with their own heavenly guardian, Saint Gabriel, the patron saint of messengers.

After the revolution of 1789, La Poste and France Telecom were national companies. The powers of the ministry in charge were extended to include general regulation of the postal and telegraph sectors and the planning of contracts between the government and La Poste. This helped protect the civil servant status of postal and telegraph workers. In 1804 the French government created a separate directorate general under the Ministry of Finance. Chamans remained in charge of the service until the fall of the First Empire in 1815. In fact, Chamans gained international fame in this feat, and his name became synonymous with the post office.

Japan’s Japan Post

The Japanese post service, Japan Post, is a leading global delivery company that delivers letters and registered mail all over the country. It also delivers parcels internationally. You can track your parcel online or call the freephone number 0120 950 333 to arrange a home pick-up. There are over 24,000 post offices in Japan, and you can send and receive mail with them on almost any day of the week.

In 2007 former prime minister Junichiro Koizumi proposed splitting Japan Post into four units: delivery, savings and insurance, and counter services. Japan Post was to keep the postal service and the bank, while selling off the insurance and savings units in a stock offering. However, successive governments have failed to implement this plan. This move has resulted in the Japanese post service being one of the world’s top post services.

Germany’s Deutsche Post DHL

In an address to shareholders, CEO Frank Appel defended globalization as not a problem, but a way to improve services. The company owns logistics divisions FedEx, UPS and Hermes. The company is also expanding its network and digitalization capabilities, as well as investing in robotics. However, despite the recent developments, globalization is still a problem for many companies, including Deutsche Post DHL.

The company’s global reach has fueled demand for its express and logistics services. Germany’s largest market remains in North America, with the company having contracts with consumer goods companies in North America. The company’s reputation for successfully juggling multiple customers and factories is a testament to its success. While Power Packaging operates outside of Germany, the company is a branch of the Germany-based Deutsche Post AG. In addition to delivering packages internationally, DHL manages supply chain/logistics services for a variety of customers.
